Season 7 of Young Sheldon was the last season of the show, and it gave fans a touching goodbye to Sheldon and the Cooper family. The season had only 14 episodes, but a lot happened. It started with Sheldon and his mom, Mary, living in Germany while the rest of the family stayed back in Texas. A tornado hit their hometown, which caused a lot of stress for everyone.
One of the biggest and saddest moments was when Sheldon’s dad, George Sr., passed away from a heart attack. Even though fans of The Big Bang Theory knew this would happen, it was still emotional to watch. The show did a good job of showing how each family member dealt with the loss, it felt real.
There were also lighter moments. For example, we finally learned why Sheldon knocks three times before entering a room, a funny but meaningful detail that ties back to his childhood. It showed how the show cared about connecting to The Big Bang Theory.
The last two episodes were very special. Jim Parsons (adult Sheldon) and Mayim Bialik (Amy) came back for a sweet appearance. We saw that Sheldon had been telling the story of his young life while writing his memoir. It was also nice to see glimpses of his future glimpses of his future life, including his children.
I think Season 7 was a beautiful ending to Young Sheldon. It mixed sadness, humor, and love perfectly. The show started out as a simple comedy, but it grew into a deeper story about family and growing up. I liked how they respected the characters and gave fans a satisfying goodbye. It made me feel happy, but also a little bit emotional, which is the best kind of ending.
