Seniors Win, Principals Take the Cake

South Garland seniors took on the counseling team to increase college applications for the Dallas Promise. Counselors gave the seniors a week to complete their applications and a sweet surprise if they reached their goal. Seniors surpassed their goal, causing SGHS principals to pay up. Principals and administrators took the hit…straight in the face.

Friday, December 4th, during all four lunch periods, students and teachers watched their brave administrators take one for the team. Right in the face. Counselors filled plates full of desserts; not to treat our administrators, but to throw in their faces.

Administrators were so proud of their seniors and all came to the unanimous agreement: they had no regrets, and would do it again next year.
