All over the state of Texas Staar testing for 2025 has started, with teachers stressing to teach their students these topics and students stressed to learn these topics in a few days and weeks. The Staar test is the most important test in Texas which determines if you will be able to pass or fail the year. Although it comes with many considerations, how can we prepare for these tests these days and ace this test?
First, the Staar testing in South Garland started April 8 for English 2, the next day it was up for freshmans with English 1. The following week, April 14 to April 18 will be a whole week of bootcamp with no testing giving us time to prepare for the next test. However, a week after that, on April 22 students will be taking the Biology test and US History test. Finally during the last days of April students will be taking the Algebra test on April 29. This gives us only a couple of days to study and get hacks to feel comfortable and secure with ourselves passing these upcoming tests.
STUDY HACKS:
To begin, to memorize something you have to frequently do this until you finally get the gig. Although, if you practice or watch youtube videos on how to pass the Staar for a couple of nights before going to sleep you are most certainly going to ace this test. Here’s how this works, when you practice something at night or have something on your mind through the night it is more likely to be in your dreams and on ur mind the second you awake. Now you’ll watch these videos a few days before your test is to come and you’ll watch yourself ace it, for more reassurance you can as well watch it before arriving at school, whether it’s in the car ride to school or while eating your breakfast make sure you have it in your mind. Although, don’t let this be an excuse to stay up late studying.
Studies show that it’s extremely important for kids to get enough sleep the night before a test. Kids who get a good night’s rest are more likely to be able to focus during a test and recall information. You wouldn’t want to prioritize studying all night just for it to be ruined because you lacked sleep, even during normal school days it is important to sleep if you want to prioritize your studies especially with the way we have to wake up so early for school already.
